Orange Care Aftercare: How Structured Recovery Support Works

In short: Included after liposuction at no extra fee, Orange Care is 365mc's structured aftercare programme. It combines therapies such as radiofrequency, vacuum massage and carboxytherapy with a set schedule from week 3 to week 7. It supports comfort and recovery, but it does not replace your own healing, healthy habits or your doctor's advice.
When people research liposuction aftercare in Korea, they often focus on the procedure day and overlook the weeks that follow. Yet those weeks shape how comfortable you feel, how quickly swelling eases and how confident you are that recovery is on track. This guide explains what a structured aftercare programme involves, how Orange Care is organised and how to make it work if you are flying in from abroad.
Why does aftercare matter after liposuction?
Liposuction removes fat through a thin tube called a cannula, but the tissue around the treated area still needs time to recover. In the first weeks you can expect swelling, bruising, tenderness and sometimes firm or uneven-feeling patches as fluid and inflammation settle. These are usually normal parts of healing, yet they can feel worrying if nobody is checking on you.
Good aftercare does three things:
- Monitoring: a medical team sees how you are healing and can spot anything unusual early.
- Comfort: supportive therapies may help with swelling, tightness and the feeling of stiffness.
- Guidance: you get clear advice on activity, garments, skin care and when to return to exercise.
Aftercare cannot change how your body heals at a basic level, and it cannot promise a particular outcome. What it can do is give you a structured, supervised path through the recovery period. For a broader view of the healing timeline, see our guide to recovery after liposuction.
What is included in the Orange Care programme?
Orange Care is the name 365mc uses for its post-procedure support. After surgery, several therapies are included without additional fee:
- Radiofrequency (RF) therapy: gentle heat delivered to the tissue, used to support circulation and comfort in treated areas.
- Endermologie / Ender Plus: a vacuum-assisted massage device that rolls and lifts the skin, often used to help with swelling and the firm, lumpy feeling some people notice after liposuction.
- Carboxytherapy: small amounts of medical carbon dioxide introduced under the skin, used in aftercare to support local blood flow.
For LAMS (Local Anesthetic Minimal-Invasive Liposuction) patients, shockwave therapy (ESWT), which uses acoustic pulses on the tissue, is also part of the aftercare approach. The exact combination you receive depends on your procedure, the areas treated and how you are healing.
What does the week-by-week Orange Care schedule look like?
For conventional liposuction, the structured part of the programme runs from week 3 to week 7. The first two weeks focus on early healing, wearing your compression garment and attending check-ups as advised.
Weeks 3–4: hyperbaric oxygen therapy
You rest in a pressurised chamber while breathing concentrated oxygen. It is used in post-surgical care to support tissue recovery. We cover it in detail in our article on hyperbaric oxygen therapy after liposuction.
Week 5: mid-frequency therapy and laser
Mid-frequency electrical stimulation works on the muscles and tissue around the treated area, combined with a laser treatment. This stage is usually when swelling has eased enough that the focus shifts to comfort and texture.
Week 6: mid-frequency, laser and Ender Plus
The vacuum massage is added back in alongside the week 5 treatments. Many people notice firmness or small ridges at this stage, and this kind of massage is commonly used to help with that.
Week 7: Ender Plus and recovery consultation
The final scheduled week includes another Ender Plus session and a recovery consultation with the medical team. This is a good moment to ask about your progress, ongoing skin care, exercise and what to expect over the coming months, since final contour usually takes longer than seven weeks to show.
How is aftercare different for LAMS and conventional liposuction?
The two approaches create different recovery needs, so aftercare is tailored.
- Conventional liposuction: often larger volumes, with the patient asleep or sedated, followed by a compression garment and the full seven-week Orange Care schedule.
- LAMS: the patient is conscious and only the area is numbed, and fat is drawn out through a fine cannula. No compression garment is required, and recovery is usually shorter, although swelling and bruising are still possible. Aftercare focuses on supportive therapies such as shockwave therapy.
If you are still deciding between the two, our comparison of LAMS vs liposuction explains how procedure choice affects downtime.
Can I use Orange Care if I am travelling from abroad?
Yes, but planning matters. Most international visitors cannot stay in Seoul for seven weeks, so it helps to think in advance about which sessions you can realistically attend.
- Validity: overseas patients have a six-month window, which leaves room for a return trip to finish the schedule.
- Location: sessions are provided at the branch where your surgery was done. If you had surgery at the Gangnam hospital, plan to return there.
- Home care: if you cannot be in Seoul for every session, you leave with a written routine for garments, gentle activity, skin care and warning signs.
- Remote follow-up: your coordinator stays reachable by the messaging app you already use, so photos and questions can follow you home.
Some travellers plan a second short trip around weeks 5–7 to attend the later sessions and the recovery consultation. Others attend the early check-ups only and rely on home care plus remote follow-up. Neither approach is wrong; it depends on your schedule and how your recovery is going. Our guide to follow-up after you return home covers this in more detail.
What can aftercare not do?
It is worth being clear about the limits so expectations stay realistic.
- Aftercare does not remove additional fat or change the amount of fat taken out.
- It does not prevent all bruising, swelling or irregularities; some people heal more slowly than others.
- It cannot replace a stable weight, balanced eating and regular movement, which strongly influence how your contour looks long term.
- It is not a substitute for medical review if you notice warning signs such as increasing pain, redness, fever, discharge or calf swelling and breathlessness. These need prompt medical attention.
Neither the surgery nor its aftercare is designed to reduce body weight. Liposuction reshapes stubborn areas, and Orange Care supports your recovery from it.
How do I get the most out of a structured aftercare programme?
- Ask for your schedule in writing at consultation, including which sessions apply to your procedure.
- Book flights around it: know which early check-ups you need to attend before flying home.
- Follow garment advice exactly if you have conventional liposuction.
- Stay gently active: short, frequent walks support circulation unless your doctor advises otherwise.
- Keep photos and notes of how you feel each week; they make remote follow-up more useful.
- Tell the team about medications or health changes, since your doctor assesses these as part of ongoing care.
Your questions, answered
Is Orange Care an extra cost?
The core aftercare therapies after surgery, including radiofrequency, Ender Plus and carboxytherapy, are included without additional fee. Confirm exactly what applies to your plan during consultation.
Do I have to attend every session?
No. Sessions support recovery but are not mandatory for every patient. If you cannot attend, you are given guidance to follow at home and can keep in touch remotely.
Can I do Orange Care at a different 365mc branch?
Orange Care is provided at the branch where your surgery was performed, so plan any return visits to that hospital.
Does hyperbaric oxygen therapy hurt?
Most people describe it as a pressure sensation in the ears, similar to a plane descending. Staff explain how to equalise the pressure before you begin.
When will I see my final result?
Swelling eases gradually over weeks to months, so the final contour usually takes several months to settle, and it varies from person to person.
If you are planning surgery and want to know which Orange Care sessions you could fit into your stay, you can ask a coordinator to map out your aftercare during a free video consultation before travelling.
This overview of aftercare is general information and should not be read as medical advice. The sessions you need, and how you recover, are decided by your doctor after an in-person assessment.
